Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...

This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.

We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.

That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Phillies Game

Friday night I went to the Philadelphia Phillies game with my fellow C5 members. C5 is what we call our floor because it is the 5th floor of Calhoun and we are tightly knit family. While walking to the Phillies game we would be assholes and make up chants such as "Let's go Nationals" and "Phillies suck." Many of the Phillies fans would get pissed while it was still hilarious. Once entering Citizens Bank Park I was involved in a confrontation with a Phillies fan. He was yelling at me for getting a "Fightin' Phils" towel because I was cheering for the Nationals. The bottomline was that the guy was a total dick and should get his ass kicked. Anyway, the game was a blast. The C5 crew and I joked around the whole game and had just a total good time. Overall it was almost a perfect time, emphasising the word almost. If the Phillies had lost it would've been a perfect experience because although I'm a Toronto Blue Jays fan, I'm also a New York Mets fan because I'm from north Jersey and I have gone to many games at Shea.
