Then my roommates and I had some quality bonding time on Thursday when we all watched the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy. I've always loved that show, so to find out the everyone in my suite loved it too brought us all a bit closer together, which was awesome. And because the premiere was 2 hours gave us more time to bond. After the show was done we talked about it for a while. It was really fun.
Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Carnival and Dorm Fun
I never expected college to be like this! I mean I've seen hundreds of movies where people stay out until early morning and party for hours, but I somehow always thought that was an exaggeration! I'm not complaining, I'm just saying it's almost amazing! The night I went to the carnival I stayed there for a while, watching the people fight it out with giant q-tips, and that was fun. I met up with some people and we just talked and had a good time. After a while the "carnival" got boring so we left (after stealing a box and some cookies) and walked around for a while. We sat down and talked for about 2 hours, then, when it was about 11.30, we headed over to our friends dorm and watched a movie. I was still just amazed that people didn't start going out until after 10. When the movie was done, it was a little after 1, and we decided to go out again. We walked over to Cosi and then sat around for another hour or so and just talked some more. I eventually had to leave because I was falling asleep right where I was, but it was a good and surprising time.
