Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Relax it is just Facebook
Well I am not a huge Facebook guy myself, but I do have one. I do not necessarily believe that Facebook is making us more kindly however I do not think it has horribly negative effects either. For the prior posts, Do you guys have Facebooks? I guessing you do therefor how can you bash it so much? That is a bit contradictory. With this said Facebook is neither good nor bad it is what the person makes it out to be. If you want to have a positive experience on Facebook you can surely do so. Facebook makes it easy to meet new people and catch up with old friends similar to what Mr. Thompson was saying. People can also just have everyday positive conversations and even share old photos. On the other side Facebook can also be negative. If you do something stupid and let people take pictures of you doing something stupid then yea Facebook can hurt you. Or if you cause an argument and decide to talk about it online then there also might be some repercussions. Facebook allows you to control many features either by making your profile private, deleting your Facebook, and posting what you want to post. Therefor it is your choice to make your Facebook experience beneficial or not. i am not to familiar with the other networking formats so I do not really feel right about commenting on them. I am sure the same sort of things apply to items like Twitter. So there are pros and cons to Facebook, and it is up to you to decide which route to take.
