Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...

This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.

We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.

That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Facebook makes you kinder??????/

Facebook is a wonderful tool to network, but does it really make you kinder. I can't think of to many things that actually make people kinder than they originally are, so i wouldn't see how an internet site would do so. Facebook does enable you to make friends on the web site which means you can view their profile and they can view yours. This does not mean they are your friend in real life. People may accept friend requests to look at ones pictures and profile even if they hate the person, or even to make fun of them. I have seen people send messages to all of their friends on facebook to completly embaress and harass one certain individual. Facebook can be usedin any way you'd like, but from what I have seen it has not been used as a tool of kindness.
