Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...

This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.

We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.

That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

first day

On the first day I woke up and took a shower and was actually on time till I met the elevator. I didn’t know that, obviously, everyone would be using it and hence it wouldn’t be as efficient as its supposed to be. I was in front of it for about ten minutes before it came. My lesson from this? Take the stairs, its much faster.
Another thing I figured out was, find all routes to your classes. I spent 10 minutes looking for my classes going all round campus; needless to say I was late for my classes and had to go through that embarrassing stage of interrupting class and finding your seat.
Lunch also taught me something, you need more time. I had to meet up with my friends for lunch. This wouldn’t be a learnin experience if I remembered the campus was huge. Well, I called and waited for ten minutes before they came,. The result? I was late for my next class.
My first day experiences made me more efficient in organizing myself and my time, which is learning of a sort.
