Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Fair Game
I definitely do not think Facebook is making anyone "kindlier" by any means. In my opinion, I think it gives people more ammo to be more judgemental of people they really don't know that well. Take myself for example, I am not an avid "facebooker", but I do have one and I will admit that I do look at peoples' posts and pictures and judge them, very harshly, for them. I usually laugh at how stupid girls make themselves come off when they're half naked in their pictures, thinking that they look cute and that it will make guys like them. If the person is not one of my close friends, or I wasn't there when the pictures were taken, I make what I want of them. Usually that the girls are drunk sluts and the dudes are toolbags. I know that these are unfair accusations but when someone posts their business online for me to see then they're fair game in my eyes, just like I am.
