Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Drexel Society Does Make Us Smarter
Drexel society is indeed making us smarter. For example, one can become more educated while looking for a party to go to. They might not realize it, but they are actually gaining knowledge while party hopping. While roaming the streets for a house to let them play beer pong in, people are gaining more knowledge about the campus and locations of different buildings. They are becoming more familiar with street names, and this will come very much in handy during future endeavors. If I ever have to find a location around Drexel, it is usually pretty easy for me because I remember which streets are where from my adventures on weekends. Drexel parties also come in handy because they help your common sense skills. I have learned never to go past Spring Garden Street, because it is a very unsafe area. Also, I have become a better judge of who to talk to, and who not to talk to. Partying at Drexel is actually a good thing to experience for these reasons and many others.
