Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...

This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.

We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.

That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Response to: "The Renaissance Faire: Entertainment or Escape?"

I completely agree with the author of this article that people sometimes need an escape. It is so easy to get caught up in the craziness of our world. Our lives revolve around Palms, iPhones and email. The Renaissance Faire provides an outlet for some. You can live the way people used to: simply. Once you've had enough, you can go on with the way your life normally is. Sometimes I think how nice it would be to live like this all the time... but I love my MacBook way too much <3
