“Overextending the Boundary of Wrong into Right” was a straightforward enough essay to impose the question, “Must good movies depend on sex, profanity, and violence?” Even Pg-13 movies nowadays have these ideas involved in some form or another. I understand the author when he/she disliked the fact all these ideas are put into movies. It influences young minds keeping them curious, and most of the time, trying new things that they are not simply prepared for. In another perspective, sex, profanity, and violence do make a movie more interesting. It keeps the audience wanting to see more. After all in a psychological point-of-view, sex and aggression are two main drives in a person due to hormonal imbalances.
Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.
