Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...

This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.

We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.

That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Response to Essay:City Life

In this essay, the student meant to constrast city life with suburbia.
The student does this through his/her observations of the city:
the crazed old woman singing on the subway ride, the graffiti on the wall,
the sight of old Philphia, and the bargaining rapper; all described in a tone
that was one of amusement allows the student to offer the picture of a contrast
between boring suburbia and the exciting city. This serves to further
enhance to the reader the way the author feels about how exciting life is
within the city environment.
