I agree with the text messaging articles on many levels. I, for one, use text messaging because of its convenience and informality. It is easy to get a short message across, but if I am sending something important I prefer calling. Text messaging is slightly unreliable and there is the possibility the message may not get to the person you're trying to send it to.
Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Hippotherapy
The article I read discussed the healing power of horses to aid disabled children, physically and mentally, in their therapeutic progress. It discussed the success rate of equine animals and cited many instances where there was proof of this. I have hands-on experience with equine therapy, known as hippotherapy, from volunteering over the summer with a rehabilitation facility for horses and humans. Many of the kids I helped had autism or cerebral palsy, and it was a truly amazing experience seeing them interact with the horses. I heard many parents saying how they had never seen their child so engaged in something, or so animated and social.

I want to share the info on my site about hippotherapy and disabilities in general. It sounds like you are interested in this topic.
Enjoy,
