Welcome to 32nd and Chestnut...
This is the blog for 75 or so Drexel students, most of whom are new to college and new to Drexel.
We'll document the strangeness of college life, try to translate our experience for diverse readers, and chronicle what it means to be a college student during these crazy days of economic turmoil and political battle.
That's it for now; I have to go an play Spore.

Video Games... The Source of Violence?
The question that has been raised is that video games are a major source of violence. Games that may be said to be at fault for this may also include any of the Grand Theft Auto games, Call of Duty, Halo, and many more. Believers of this theory think that this is the root of the rising violence in teens of this generation. Video games are not at fault for this. Through good parenting, morals should be set into place within each child, and of course reality. Teens that have these morals realize that violence is not the way to deal with problems and they also realize that gaming is virtual, not real. Even though these gaming simulations are getting more and more realistic the parents should still be advocating good morals so that their teenagers realize the falsehood of these games. Our culture is barreling down the wrong path, parents are accepting a new norm, and in a sense are destroying the morals of our future generations.
